Thankful Thursday: A wonderful friend

I am extremely lucky to be able to say that I have many great friends in my life. They have all influenced my life in different ways and I am so thankful for each of my friends.

I have a few older friends in my life that have influenced me as well, including one of my co -workers.  Sheryl is just simply an awesome person. She is a personal trainer, entrepreneur, server, a wife and a mother of two boys. She is absolutely killing it! She is super bubbly, friendly, and easy to talk to. She is strong-headed and can take charge easily. She’s pretty bad-ass in my opinion and I really admire her work ethic, confidence, and kindness.

Sheryl is a fellow server at The Bent Elbow which is where I met her almost 4 years ago now. After talking with her a few times, I felt instantly comfortable with her. I have confided in her many times and she has always been there to listen and to offer advice when she can. She is always smiling, laughing, and cracking jokes with everyone at work which always makes a shift with her really fun and I find that the time passes by pretty quickly when I am working with her!

My mom actually trains with Sheryl and she is encouraging and understanding, but isn’t afraid to kick your butt from what my mom tells me. She’s strong physically, but she is also strong emotionally and mentally, which is evident in the way that she carries herself and that is another thing that I admire her for. Sheryl also runs a couple of businesses online and has had great success with both! She has worked so hard building her businesses and I’m really happy that she is accomplishing her goals!

I am very thankful to have Sheryl as a co-worker and a friend. She is a really wonderful person who has accomplished a lot in her life. In my many conversations with her, I have learned a lot from her stories and her advice.

If you read this Sheryl, just know that you are such a great person and I am so grateful for your friendship! Keep being awesome and kicking butt out there!

I hope you all enjoyed this post!

Thanks for reading,
