Update: A new year, failed Blogmas and my blogging goals for 2017!

Hello everyone!

I can’t believe it’s already the second week of 2017! The time flew by it seems but I’m excited to see what this year has in store!

I haven’t posted in quite a long time and I do apologize for the lack of content over the past few weeks. Evidently I completely failed at doing Blogmas last month and I mentioned that quite often in my posts. Committing to a daily writing challenge was quite difficult, especially since December is always such a busy month. I had finals for school, I started a new job, and there were lots of family gatherings and other things going on that I focused more time on than remembering to post every day.

With that said, I am going to take this opportunity for a fresh start to post more regularly and make writing a priority as I really do enjoy it. I probably won’t post every day of the week, but I will try to post at least three times a week. I really have missed blogging and I want to get back into a good routine of writing so I’m planning on posting a few times each week.

I am going to continue doing the 52 Weeks of Gratitude challenge and Bible Study Sundays. I received a journal called the 52 lists project which I thought would be interesting to share as well. I’m excited to start writing more frequently and maybe I’ll even try a daily writing challenge again (and hopefully I will be successful with it)! As I mentioned, my goals for blogging this year are to post at least three times a week and eventually to try (and succeed) another daily blogging challenge. I know those are small and basic goals, but as I continue blogging throughout the year, I’m sure that I will think of more goals to set and accomplish!

I hope you have all been doing well over the past few weeks and that you’ve had a great start to the new year! What are some of the things you’re looking forward to experiencing and accomplishing this year?

Thanks for reading!
