30 Days of Gratitude, Days 4 and 5

Hello everyone!

I know, I know…I skipped a post yesterday. I was running errands all morning and went into work early and finishing yesterday’s post completely slipped my mind. So today, I’ll be catching up and combining days 4 and 5 into one post!

Day 4: What attribute of God are you thankful for?

God has many amazing attributes. He is loving, trusting, healing…He is everything. An attribute of God that I am truly grateful for is that He has such an incredible amount of grace. After all, it is through the grace of Jesus that we are saved. We are saved by grace. God’s grace gives us His favour, mercy, and love as sinners. God’s grace gives us a fresh start each day, isn’t that incredible?

Grace is an incredible attribute and it is something that I am striving to have more of. God’s grace has allowed me to accomplish, overcome, and obtain many amazing things in my life. I am so thankful for that.

I hope you experience the grace of God today and everyday and give thanks for such an amazing gift!

Day 5: What family member are you grateful for today?

I am grateful for each one of my family members (my own family and my in-laws) and I try to express that to them as often as possible. A family member I am grateful for in particular today is my Aunt Deborah. She is strong-willed, grounded in her faith, encouraging, open to having discussions about anything, she is always there when you need to talk, and she can be downright hilarious most times! She is awesome and definitely upholds the “cool Aunt” ideology. Of course my cousins and uncle (her kids and husband) are awesome as well and I am equally as thankful for them, but I wanted to mention my Aunt in particular today, especially since she is in Canada to visit for the next week!

Growing up, we have always been close. Even when they moved to the U.S., we visited whenever we could and vice versa. She always calls (at least once a week) to check in on the family and to catch up. She always sends cards (birthday, Christmas, you name it) and is very thoughtful.

My Aunt is a beautiful person, inside and out, and I am lucky to have her in my life, no matter how far away she is.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Thanks for reading,
